The Corner House is the perfect place to stay. Our room was immaculate and spacious with a sea view. Derek and Mark made us feel very welcome. Their breakfast is amazing so bring a good appetite! The property is close to the sandy beach with pleasant places to eat within walking distance. Without doubt we would recommend The Corner House.

Mark and Derek were very friendly, the room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, the shower was hot and powerful and with free inside parking there was no hinting for street parking. The breakfast! Wow, prepared with great attention yo detail and amazing choice.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we were intending to leave, the guys were excellent, professional and knowledgeable of the towns history, the best places to visit, the nightlife and the restaurants... They must have partied hard in the past! We enjoyed our two night break so much that we asked if we could stay a third night! They checked and said ok, but we had to move to a lovely room next door. We enjoyed an extra night and ate in a restaurant they recommended and true to their word, it was an amazing experience! we look forward to returning next year for a longer stay!

Wifey says its brilliant and I have to agree. Extremely clean and tidy. Our hosts were friendly and knowledgeable of Lowestoft places to eat and drink. They serve a great breakfast too. As a retired couple we have stayed at many bed & breakfast establishments but this has to be the best. The hosts were welcoming, the breakfast was great.Everywhere was spotlessly clean and lovely decor. Our room was very comfortable and we will be returning.

We cannot speak highly enough of our stay here.The hosts are welcoming and friendly, and nothing seems too much to ask.They have clearly put a lot of love and thought into designing the rooms with some lovely touches included. We have travelled all over the world and The Corner House is by far the best B&B we have stayed in. Everything is a 10+++ The rooms are lovely, breakfasts are fabulous and the hosts, Derek and Mark are so friendly and accommodating.

Both rooms are lovely even though we booked another room short notice the rooms are very spacious cleaned our son and daughter room had a fridge which was a bonus as our son is type one diabetic the breakfast was lovely and had choices this is our third stay and our son and daughter first time they loved it i would recommend the Corner House to my family and friends if they want to stay in lowestoft Derek and Mark are lovely very friendly

Recently enjoyed four nights in Seahouses, stayingat The Corner House. The owners, Donna & Paul made us most welcome giving us guidance on “where to go and where to eat” and provided us with a clean, well appointed bedroom and really super breakfasts. Should we venture back “up North” in the near future, this will be our “go to” place to stay.

The accommodation was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent with varied and unusual choices all cooked fresh in very pleasant surroundings. The Corner House was in an excellent position just off the seafront two minutes walk and another plus was the off-road parking.

This is our forth visit to the Corner House. It’s a real gem. Derek and Mark run a stylish establishment. The daily breakfast is superb and sets us up for the day. We cannot recommend the Corner House more highly. It is always our first choice when coming to Lowestoft.

If ever a guest house deserved a 5 star rating, then this is it. The decor throughout was very tasteful, with the bedrooms very well equipped.The hosts, Derek and Mark were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble, and their knowledge of the area was invaluable.The breakfast alone deserves 10/10 - superb !I will definitely stay there again.

This is definitely one of the best B&Bs we've stayed in. Our king size room was on the second floor and was a good size with a couple of chairs by the window. It also has a chest of drawers and a wardrobe with lots of hangers. They provide tea, including herbal, coffee milk and sugar. This can be topped up on request.The bed was very comfortable and there were several pillows available. There is a hairdryer and fan. The bathroom has a good size shower with good water pressure. Shampoo and shower gel are provided. The bath towels are good quality and size.The breakfast is ordered the day before and there is a varied choice of hot and cold breakfasts. The East Coast Toast was delicious.The hosts are helpful and informative. The B&B is in easy walking distance for the south beach and a 30-minute walk from the town. Parking is available on the drive or there is on street parking in the road next to the B&B.

It is renowned as 'the place to stay' amongst my colleagues and I've heard nothing but good things. Mark and Derek (and of course Archie) are wonderful hosts and always make mefeel welcome. A very warm welcome awaits. Beautifully decorated and clean.Wide range of options for breakfast including vegan options. The Suffolk full English didn’t disappoint. Lovely attention to detail, little pot of ketchup and well presented.Travelled with my 13 year old daughter we even had a little Easter egg hunt which was a lovely touch.Can not recommend highly enough, nothing is too much trouble for Derek and Mark, we loved our stay.

We stayed at the Corner Hotel from 22nd to 24th March 2024 to meet upwith my brothers and family to scatter the ashes of our late parents in Lowestoft a place our parents loved and used to visit.On arrival and all during our stay both Derek and Mark were very welcoming and attentive,the hotel is beautifully decorated, rooms all very carefully finished and a credit to them both and the breakfasts are an absolute delight.The Corner House hotel is very highly recommended if you are travelling and want to stay in Lowestoft 😊

Our room & en suite was very spacious and decorated to a very high standard as indeed was the whole property.The breakfeast menu extensive and very generous - kippers the best my partner and I have had in years! A really comfortable place to stay.

Our stay was to accomodate two visits to the excellent Marina Theatre in Lowestoft and we chose the Corner House based on recent reviews. We were not disappointed! We had some questions before our visit which Derek responded to immediatley, and even phoned us to check that we had received his response and that he had covered everything for us. Upon arrival Derek was very welcoming and provided information about the local area, and help with taxis to transport us to and from the theatre. It is walkable but a little too far for elder legs on a cool February night. Our room was immaculate, and quiet, and the bed was so comfortable that my wife, Jenny, reckons it was the best night's sleep she's had in months.The breakfast was delicious, and service from Derek and Mark was outstanding.It is an ideal location to experience the seafront, and we enjoyed a lovely walk on the promenade.When we next return to Lowestoft this will, most certainly, be our choice as to where to stay. We are looking forward to it already. Thank you Derek & Mark.

Starting with the phone call I made to check in times, our hosts were flexible to our needs and gave useful information about parking and how to get there.When we arrived we were made very welcome, our room was very comfortable and suited our needs perfectly.AMAZING BREAKFAST CHOICE!large portions, extra toast if wanted and great choice of cooked and cold breakfast.Porridge with coconut and fruit was something new for us, but thoroughly enjoyed.We will be back next year. I would give them a 5*++ if possible.

We stayed for one night in room 3. It was beautifully decorated and had everything you needed, mini fridge, good selections of teas and coffee. Bed was lovely and comfy.Breakfast was amazing. You choose from a menu the night before. Very helpful friendly hosts. Will definitely be back

This hotel ticks all the boxes, lovely room, comfy bed, really good breakfast, very clean, relaxed atmosphere.What stood out was the genuine kindness and compassion of our hosts. The care they took with a special breakfast, conversation, helping me out with a work problem I had and printing a document for me, letting us know about cancelled trains. We often are in Lowestoft for work, and The Corner House is top of the list for accommodation (and we've tried many!). The owners are a special combination of friendly and not overdoing it. The house is beautifully decorated, spotlessly fresh and clean, with touches to make a stay comfortable. And just one street from the sea and lovely seaside walks. We will stay again.

I find its rare to find a place that you keep wanting to come back to, but the Corner House is that place for me. I have been staying here for the August bank holiday for many years now and will continue to come back every year going forward. Derek and Mark are wonderful hosts, friendly and welcoming and staying here feels like being at home as its so comfortable. All the rooms are completed to a high standard and are very spacious and light. The breakfast is excellent, with a good choice available although I always have the full 'Suffolk'! The location couldn't be more convenient, a short walk and you can be on the stunning beach, and the town is also not too far to walk. I have family in the area and find the Corner house to be the ideal base. I would strongly recommend and have already booked in for two stays next year!

Yes, serious situation, I've nothing to whinge about, we had a three-night stay in Room 5. and would return.Double and single bed, plenty of sockets, tea, coffee etc. hairdryer.Room was light and airy with windows that could be opened. There are stairs to the rooms. Bus stop outside for outbound journey but as on a one-way system (not noisy) the inbound was a short walk. To reach the beach it's about a five minute walk. Should you use a wheelchair the seafront path is a little hilly but if you head South the path stops and is a grassed area, takes about ten minutes to end of metalled surface.Blue badge holders need to check Lowestoft council car park charging policies.Corner House parking accepts about five cars depending on size, we had no problems, but should it be full parking is possible free in roadside around that area .Breakfast was fine with a goodselection, all areas were clean.The two guys Derek and Mark are of a pleasant disposition and enjoy banter, Derek in particular likes to take it on the chin.lolBook direct to receive a keener price ❗️

This was our second stay at The Corner House and was as wonderful as the first. The beautiful rooms are spotlessly clean and well equipped, the hospitality tray has various tea, coffees and sweeteners with homemade biscuits making it special. The hosts Mark and Derek are so welcoming, friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble - helping with places to visit. Breakfast is an amazing experience with options for alltastes. All this for a very reasonable price. We will definitely be returning.

We spent 2 very comfortable nights in room 7 on the top floor. Derek and Mark looked after us extremely well. They took special care with our dietary requirements. The bed was comfy, the room was spacious and everything was spotless and well equipped - there was even a fan in the cupboard! One of the best B&Bs we've ever stayed in - we'd book again in aflash. The only possible icing on the cake would be a minifridge in the room!

We stumbled upon the Corner House following the closure of our usual B&B. It’d be difficult to find anywhere nicer: fairly spacious with fabulous interior decoration, comfortable bed, very clean throughout, and excellent breakfast. Couple of minutes walk away from the promenade, and some nice local restaurants within walking distance.

We planned to stay on Lowestoft to visit my family and found this little gem of a B&B. Even though we arrived really late, Mark and Derick we're patiently waiting for us. A warm welcome was issued, breakfast orders taken and up to our room we went. Beautiful room with great equipment. A shower which has great pressure, a large comfortable bed and all amenities needed to enjoy our stay. Heck, even seaview from our room! Breakfast was on point and tasted really well. Compliments to the kitchen! All in all we were welcomed, had a great time ans enjoyed out stay. This isn't the last time we'll be staying!

Ok before I start this is a true review of our experience at the Corner house Lowestoft. When we arrived we were met and shown where to park we were then shown to our room no waiting around the room was very clean and the decor was lovely the bed was comfortable and a host of tea & coffee waiting for us there was also some home made biscuits and bottled water. The host's showed us how to set up Netflix and wi-fi which are both free I might add. The host's were very polite and helpful throughout our stay. After a good quiet night we went for breakfast and I have to say it was fantastic best breakfast we've had quality food locally sourced none of your cheap rubbish you get at some b&bs. All in all I can honestly say if you're looking for a place to stay when in the area you won't find better even in big more expensive hotels. You won't regret staying at The corner house so a big thank you to the lads for a lovely stay.

Mark & Derek the owners are perfect hosts, pleasant, likeable and professional in a friendly way. The property has been a delight to stay in, the rooms are large and comfortable.Breakfast is included in the cost and a variety of food is on the menu, and is delivered to your dinning room table by Derek in a timely manner. Nothing is too difficult for them to please you and they go out of their way to provide advice about where to go, what to see. The property is situate on a one-way street, there is parking off street, and local sights are close by. Totally recommend this property to stay in.Oh Yes, the decor in this property has been excellently chosen to suite the property.

We had a fabulous 2 night stay at the Cornerhouse whilst visiting our grandson. The room was beautifully decorated and the homemade biscuits were lovely. The welcome was warm and suggestions for dinner useful. Curry house down the road ,- try the Raj special - delicious) We particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit and yoghurt at breakfast, a healthy choice before the main event!

We’ve been coming here every year for around ten years. Mark and Derek are the best hosts. Our young daughter loves it. The rooms are superb and regularly re decorated, breakfast is fresh, cooked to order and great options. The homemade cookies in the room top off a friendly arrival. 2 mins walk from the beach. We never return to places we don’t like. The fact that we come here every year says it all.

Fantastic B&B - Luxury at a great price. beautiful furnishings, decor, and bed linen. Excellent shower ensuite with high quality toiletries. We were allowed to have our takeaway fish and chips supper in their break area which was much appreciated. The breakfasts are great. On top of that the hosts Derek and Mark are lovely, and so friendly to talk to. They have done such a fantastic job creating this B&B. There is on site parking and also parking on the street directly outside if no spaces available in their car park. We will go back and recommend to are friends and family if visiting the area.

We’ve been staying at The Corner House Hotel for a number of years and it still remains our favourite when we visit Lowestoft. We love this place, Mark and Derek are perfect hosts and really look after us, the decor is amazing as is the attention to detail, breakfasts are superb, fantastic choice although we do tend to have the same every time.

Fantastic value well worth a visit

I found this B&B and booked because of its reviews. It is everything that the reviews said.The lads are so friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are brilliant. I booked 2 rooms (the king sized ones) and they were perfect. Exceptionally clean, comfortable beds and hospitality tray. You can come and go when you like. Parking on site or unrestricted in the surrounding streets. Recommend the Tah Mahal Indian restaurant and the Fortune Cookie chinese both lovely food. Hopefully be back soon.

Clean place’room nice, staff helpful and friendly, and are a big creditto their business.. breakfast was lovely, and freshly cooked… any one coming here, you won’t be disappointed….

Beautiful room! Comfortable bed, quality bed linen, tea tray ( with homemade biscuits) and Netflix.Amazing breakfast ( Master Archie’s Toastie was heaven as was the East Coast Toast) and presentation was superb.Great hosts, welcoming and personable.1 minute to the beach and parking, too. I loved it.

Stayed here once again and the standard has not slipped at all. Always a warm friendly welcome, great breakfast and nothing to much trouble. Thanks Mark and Derek and hope to see you again later in the year.

We stayed at the Corner House in room 6 on top floor for 3 nights in Mar 2023.The room was very large, beautifully decorated, and the bed was very comfortable.The Breakfasts were lovely, and the dining room was a lovely place to be, again beautifully decorated.The whole building was very nicely decorated and well kept.The hosts Mark and Derek were great, very friendly, and only too happy to provide useful local knowledge of places to see / visit / dine.We would definitely return if we are in the area again.

From arrival to leaving the whole experience was first class, greeted by Derek on arrival and shown to the room which was clean and very nicely decorated (No 4) can't fault the room then in the morning breakfast well for me that did it, first class nice quality and very filling food was lovely I cannot fault the whole experience and definitely will be back if up in Lowestoft again, both Mark and Derek made you feel very welcome

From the moment we saw the place we felt it was going to be a treat. The matculoys attention to detail and the attention to detail was apparent from arriving at the car park through to the end of our stay.This couple are naturals at this and the magic words from them was "we want it to be a place where we would want to go to" and they clearly ha e very high standardsWe are already looking at booking again and can't wait to come back. I found myself in the unenviable position of having to stay in Lowestoft for at least a week but something about the Corner House caught my eye. The reviews were all positive and so I booked my 8 days. Upon arrival I was shown into the most pleasant of rooms and promptly fell asleep.The room was comfortable, airy and I was able to open the window and breathe in the sea air. The breakfasts are a sight to behold and very welcome after a long journey. I think I managed to sample them all over the course of my stay. In this location your are within laughing distance of the south beach, there's a great chippy a couple of hundred meters down the road and various pubs and a handful of take-aways for your dining needs. If I had to stay in Lowie again, I would want to stay at The Corner House, thanks guys, it was a wonderful experience.

This is an outstanding place. Stylish décor throughout, with thoughtfully furnished and practically designed rooms. All sparklingly clean of course. There's everything you could possibly need. We slept very well in comfy beds in silent surroundings. Lovely. The owners are friendly, welcoming and helpful, clearly with a genuine desire to provide the very best service and make their guests feel at home. It's so easy for breakfast to be an afterthought and just the usual basic stuff, and I wouldn't begrudge that, but this was not so at the Corner House. Here it was the cherry on the cake; better than the majority of dedicated cafes and restaurants (and we're vegan so it's all the more surprising how well we were catered too!). If you're looking for accommodation in Lowestoft, don't look anywhere else.

Derek & Mark have your best interests from start to finish. Spotlessley clean rooms & en-suite, decorated & furnished to a very high standard. Breakfasts are fantastic, varied, perfectly cooked & served in a spacious beautifully presented dining room. Beach & promenade walks are a 2 minute walk away. Close, regular daytime & early evening bus service if you don't drive. Very highly rated by us.

Very welcoming and helpful hosts, comfortable and tastefully furnished rooms and among the best breakfasts we have eaten. A 2 minute walk from the sea-front but quiet location. The picture does not do justice to this beautiful Victorian house.

Another excellent 2 night stay for us at the best B and B in Lowestoft!As always the welcome is such that you feel like you are visiting a friend.The room was spacious and comfortable with a good supply of tea and coffee (proper coffee bags even!) and even a couple of mini mince pies!+ a decent shower with plenty of hot water, what’s not to like?As for breakfast – a good range of options is available, although why anyone would want anything other than the full ‘Suffolk’ is beyond me!Delicious, filling and plentiful ably supported by a good supply of decent coffee – the best way to start the day!We’ll be back!

The stay was very enjoyable with comfortable accommodation and very helpful hosts. The breakfasts were the best we have experienced with a wide range of choice. We were entirely happy with every aspect of our visit and will definitely book again in the future.

We stayed for 4 nights in room 7Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean with comfy bed and fluffy towels.Had covid restrictions in place so you felt safe.Breakfast was yummy, lots of choice and hosts Derek and Mark were perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble.There is space for some cars in there car park but lots of off street parking too.Beach was 2 minute walk,bus into town bus stop on the doorstep.Hope to stay again if we are in the area.10 out of 10.We have stayed at trip advisors 1st top rated B&B in Scarborough and the Corner house should be the same ranking 😃Much better than some Hiltons I've stayed in the USA.Well done Derek & Mark 👏👏

Great location for accessing the beach and town. Even though on a through route it wasn't too noisy and we could hear the sea at night. Stayed here for two nights while attending a wedding arrived on Friday and the owners derek and Mark are so warm and welcoming they have done some fantastic work on the B&B the place was immaculate we stayed with 3 other family members and had a total of 3 rooms and had rooms 3 5 and 6 and every one of them was beautifully decorated my brother in law had breakfast and said it was delicious would definitely recommend and will be staying there again when we go to visit family honestly cannot rate this place high enough if I could would give it 10 stars.(source TripAdvisor)
